I’ve been doing CrossFit for over 12 years and have been coaching for almost 10. During that time, I’ve had the opportunity to coach CrossFit classes, personal training sessions, and nutrition clients, and I can honestly say, I love every part of it. Helping people move better, get stronger, and discover what they’re capable of is what fuels me every day.
Before I ever picked up a barbell, I spent 25 years working in education as a classroom teacher and district administrator. That experience shaped how I coach today. I approach every class with the mindset of a teacher. My goal is always to make complex movements feel simple and achievable, and to help athletes understand why they’re doing what they’re doing.
I’m passionate about learning, growing, and challenging myself and others, whether it’s in the classroom, the gym, or in life. I love the energy of a big class, keeping things organized and fun, and making sure every athlete, no matter their experience level, feels seen and supported.
What I enjoy most about coaching is helping people find confidence in themselves—seeing that moment when something clicks, or when an athlete hits a goal they once thought was out of reach. Those moments remind me why I started coaching in the first place.
